What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an Office Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Barnby Road Academy. This role involves managing the front desk, greeting visitors, answering phones and e-mails along with providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the school office.
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent Customer Service
- Sensitivity and understanding
- The ability to prioritise effectively and juggle many different tasks under pressure
- An awareness of the importance of confidentiality and the safeguarding of children
- Good IT skills
- Experience, ideally, in education software such as Sims etc (although full training can be provided)
- The ability to work as part of a team
- A flexible approach, cheerful disposition, patience and a sense of humour
