We are looking for a Fixed term contract SEND Support worker, TERM TIME ONLY to provide 1-1 support for a 2 year old child with additional needs. This will be for approx 15 Hours per week reliant on continued funding from Bedford Borough Council. Potentially this position could run from September 2025 to end of the school year in July 2027 though this is dependent on continued funding from Bedford Borough Council. The hours may increase
THIS POSITION IS TERM TIME ONLY - CLOSED DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.
Tuesday 9am to 3:00pm 30 mins unpaid lunch break
Wednesday 9am to 3:00pm 30 mins unpaid lunch break
Friday 9:00am to 12:30pm
Will be required to write up observations on said child and liaise with other professionals so must have good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities
Provide one-on-one support to children with special educational needs in an early years setting.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes the development of each child's skills.
Collaborate with educators and parents to create tailored learning plans.
Communicate effectively with children to enhance their understanding and engagement.
Assist in daily activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of all children.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
