Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist

We have exciting opportunities within MFT at our Wythenshawe Hospital site for full time Rotational Band 5 Physiotherapists.

We are looking for forward thinking, dynamic team players. You should have the ability to work within an MDT but also manage an independent caseload of at times complex patients. You need to be able to assess, diagnose, plan, and deliver treatment programs to patients in your care.

As part of large teaching hospitals, we are committed to providing excellent patient focused care. Each site offers a wide variety of rotations within each you will be supported closely by senior staff and the multidisciplinary team allowing you to develop clinical knowledge and skills. We are committed to CPD and provide tailored IST programmes, an active peer support group, preceptorship program for newly qualified staff and regular appraisals. You may be responsible for supervising non-qualified staff and students.

The individual will be an autonomous practitioner being professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of their professional and clinical work and therefore able to recognise their limitations. Once deemed competent you will contribute the weekend and on call rotas.

We offer a wide variety of 5 month rotations across acute and specialist inpatient, ICU, outpatient, rehabilitation and community areas. Some of the rotations are off the main hospitals’ site.
