We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team at Loch Arthur.
Do you have experience in computer based accounting systems and routine accounting procedures?
Would you like to join our Finance Team as we work towards a major system change?
This is a full time role - 37.5 hours per week (part time or job share may be considered)
The rate of pay is £13.50 per hour - (a higher rate of pay may be possible for an exceptional candidate)
This is a temporary position until December 2025 with the possibility of becoming permanent.
Loch Arthur is a modern rural community which includes people with disabilities helping to create and sustain a multi-faceted community life. Fundamental to the ethos of Camphill is the creation of meaningful and fulfilling work for all Community members. Out of this, a variety of productive workshops and enterprises have developed at Loch Arthur. This includes farms, gardens, craft workshops, creamery and farm shop.
Your duties will include:
• Sales Ledger - raising customer invoices and monitoring payments
• Purchase Ledger - dealing with supplier invoices and queries
• Bank Account Reconciliation
• Tills - till statements, receipts, cash up and dealing with till queries
• Ad hoc tasks as requested by the Finance Manager
