Are you an experienced operator of heavy plant machinery with a passion for team leadership and site safety? We have an exciting opportunity for a Quarry Supervisor to join a well-established and respected plant hire business based near Stamford.

The Role:
As Quarry Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations across two local sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with operational targets. You’ll lead a small team of 4 operatives, coordinate machine use and repairs, and take an active role in operating equipment when needed.

  Duties will include:

  • Supervising daily quarry operations across two local sites

    
    

  • Operating and overseeing use of wheel loaders and excavators

    
    

  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety policies and procedures

    
    

  • Organising maintenance and repairs of machinery

    
    

  • Leading, motivating, and managing a small team

    
    

  • Supporting logistical coordination across both locations

    
    

    Requirements:

  • Previous experience operating wheel loaders and/or excavators
    
  • Proven experience managing a small team
    
  • Strong understanding of health & safety in an operational environment
    
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
    
  • Flexible to travel between sites around Stamford
