The Grace Eyre Foundation is a charity based in Brighton & Hove and the wider Sussex community that has been working with people with a Learning Disability and autistic people since 1898. Our mission is to work towards being led by people with Learning Disabilities and autistic people to deliver high-quality housing, support and activities in their local communities. The people we support tell us that they want “good support from kind and friendly people” – so that is what we are looking for!
Introduction to the role:
Your role will be to support people with learning disabilities, autism and other complex needs with day-to-day tasks in either our supported living houses or out in the community supporting people to live independently in their own homes.
We support people with all aspects of their lives, such as daily living skills, medication, personal care and budgeting as well as accessing community activities and appointments. You will need to have good communication skills and just enjoy sp
