We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SeniorClinical Psychologistwith a keen interest in service development and delivery to join our thriving and innovative multi-disciplinary Emotional & Behavioural Team (EBT).
Luton Specialist CAMHS is part of ELFT (East London Foundation Trust), which also provides CAMHS services in East London and Bedfordshire and has an active clinical psychology forum. Luton is a fast growing hub and multi-ethnic community within a half hour train journey from central London, with the clinic a five minute walk from the station. The Trust has an arrangement for 50% discount on season ticket fares with Thameslink, the rail provider, for its staff.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SeniorClinical Psychologistto bring a psychological perspective in clinical thinking to the senior team and E & B pathway. They will provide guidance on evidence informed therapies that can help address the capacity and demand on services, and in particular the growing complex challenges that children, young people and their families face, and how we as a service can most effectively respond. The post holder will lead on service audits, quality improvement projects and clinical outcomes, and ensure the findings of audits inform service development, based on the needs of the diverse communities in Luton.
Our mission is to make a positive difference to people's lives by improving the quality of life for all we serve. Our values are: We Care, We Respect, We are Inclusive – so we are looking for people who live and breathe these qualities when supporting service users and carers, and in their relationships with colleagues in the Trust and our partner organisations.
Responsibilities will include direct clinical work and case management of complex and high risk cases, line management/clinical supervision and systems consultation. The senior role is integral to contributing towards achieving the wider EBT and Luton CAMH Service objectives.
