About the Role
As theReducing Reoffending Project Officer, you will be the driving force behind a borough-wide effort to break the cycle of crime.Working across Wandsworth and Richmond, you will coordinate strategic delivery groups, manage impactful projects and forge powerful partnerships with statutory and community organisations.
You will work closely with HMP Wandsworth, the Police, Probation, and local services to identify gaps, build bridges and create a seamless support network for those most at risk of reoffending.
This is more than a project role – it is a chance to shape systems, influence strategy and be an advocate for change.
Essential Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of crime legislation, community safety priorities and the factors that contribute to offending and reoffending.
- Experiencein multi-agency or partnership work, project management and ideally, community safety or criminal justice.
- Skillsin relationship-building, organisation and communication plus confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems (ECINS knowledge is a bonus, but training will be provided).
- Resilience and initiative – you will need to juggle priorities, meet deadlines and bring fresh ideas to the table.
You will be based primarily in Wandsworth, with some work in Richmond and flexibility to work from home. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to support community events.
