Crynodeb
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lathe Setter Operator to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis.
Our client manufactures quality products in a variety of stainless, carbon & nickel alloys in the Sheffield area.
Previous experience operating manual lathes/machines is essential.
Skills required:
• The ability to monitor the running of machines, ensuring they are loaded/unloaded with minimal down time
• Capstan and manual lathe setting & operating
• Working to tight tolerances ensuring quality standards are met using vernier & micrometer gauges
• Able to read engineering machining drawings
This role may also involve performing other day to day duties as part of the team including grinding, thread rolling and packing.
Working hours:
• Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00 (30 minute lunch break)
