Job Summary

Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages children to explore, learn, and express themselves.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, playtime, and nap schedules, ensuring a smooth flow of activities.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support each child's learning journey.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents and guardians.
Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning environment that aligns with best practices in early childhood education.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organised nursery space that meets health and safety standards.
Drive initiatives that promote children's independence and confidence through play-based learning experiences.
Qualifications
Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage groups of children effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their development through creative play.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
Knowledge of child development theories and practices relevant to early years education is advantageous.
