An exceptional secondment opportunity awaits within the dynamic Tissue Viability team at the Royal London Hospital, a team where clinical excellence meets compassionate care.

Step into a specialist position where every day brings the opportunity to make a real difference. As a Junior Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist, you will be at the forefront of patient-centred care, combining clinical expertise with innovative solutions to transform patient outcomes.
• Deliver specialist, holistic care that puts patients first, focusing on optimal wound healing.
• Support the implementation of clinical solutions that preserves tissue health and dignity.
• Make a measurable difference in patient recovery and quality of life.
• Provide guidance and support to multidisciplinary teams across the hospital.
• Support colleagues to become empowered with knowledge so they can deliver consistent, safe, compassionate care.
• Support the delivery of educational initiatives that elevate clinical practice standards.

Application Requirements:

· You must already be a band 6.

· Have a passion for skin integrity with a proved history of making a difference to skin care within your clinical roles.

· The role is based at the Royal London Hospital.

· As with the rest of the Tissue Viability team members, the role will be expected to support the other hospitals Tissue Viability team on occasions.

· The post holder will provide specialist, holistic patient centered care and harm reducing clinical and management solutions to achieve pressure ulcer avoidance, optimal wound healing and preservation of tissue health.

· The post holder will provide specialist advice support our clinical teams to deliver safe and compassionate care, reduce harm and improve patient experience.

· The post holder will support the provision of education to our clinical teams to deliver safe and compassionate care, reduce harm and improve patient experience.

· The post holder will support pressure ulcer reduction campaigns.
