Summary
Fantastic opportunity to work as a Warehouse Freezer Operative for our client's busy distribution center for fresh food.
Staffline is recruiting for Warehouse Freezer Operatives in Wakefield.
The rate of pay for this role is:
Afternoons: £13.98 per hour
Nights: £14.12 per hour
This is a full time role, working any 5 days out of 7. The hours of work are:
- 2pm - 10pm
OR
- 10pm - 6am
Must be able to work 5 shifts per week and flexible on days, shifts allocated as per site needs so may include weekends.
Experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential as full training is provided.
Your Time at Work
You will be responsible for working in our clients Freezer warehouse, with a temperature of -20 degrees. Insulated clothing and PPE will be provided by the client. Your duties include:
- Operating an electric pallet truck and voice order picking stock.
- You will be required to manual handle goods and place on pallets when picking stock.
You must be able to lift 25kg boxes in a freezer environment. Stock is heavy at times due to the goods been frozen.
Our Perfect Worker
Our perfect worker will be comfortable with manual handling items stock and placing on pallets. Whilst training is provided, confident in operating a voice pick system and electric pallet truck.
You would also have the ability to work in a pick targeted environment.
