Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 3
Location: SEND Primary School, Skelmersdale WN8
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm
Contract Type: Full-time
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our reception class in a warm and welcoming SEND primary school. This is a full-time role where you will work closely with the class teacher to support children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities, supporting both the whole class and small groups.
Provide one-to-one support where necessary, helping to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Implement behaviour management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
Support children with varying needs to achieve their individual learning goals.
Foster a nurturing environment to help young children settle and thrive in their first year of school.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Essential
Experience working in a school/educational setting,
Strong behaviour management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with children.
