We’re looking for a proactive and confident Hygiene Manager to join our team at a busy food manufacturing site.
As Hygiene Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring food safety, health & safety, and hygiene standards are upheld at all times.
You’ll be part of a great team, with a supportive client and plenty of scope for development, including formal training and qualifications.
Job Description
You’ll take ownership of the Master Sanitation Schedule, allocate the right staff to the right tasks, and ensure they’re fully trained and compliant.
You’ll also support and take part in audits, and ideally have some understanding of permits to work, though training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
Maintain a safe, professional manner at all times while working on site
Build strong client relationships and demonstrate an understanding of their expectations
Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive performance accordingly
Complete all allocated tasks to the required frequency and high standard
Ensure full compliance with all relevant company documentation and systems
Accurately complete and review operational records, including cleaning sign-offs, contributing to audit and KPI outcomes
Take responsibility for the timely and accurate completion of payroll processes
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Proven experience managing industrial cleaning teams within a manufacturing environment
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Previous hygiene management experience, ideally within the food industry
Skilled in team leadership, recruitment, payroll, and financial oversight
Knowledge of cleaning methodologies, systems, and compliance procedures
Demonstrates strong team-building abilities and problem-solving skills
Confident and effective leadership style, able to drive high performance
