Responsibilities
Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and upkeep of the facility including common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify maintenance needs and report issues in a timely manner.
Ensure all safety protocols are followed, including proper handling and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Assist in organizing and setting up events, meetings, and special activities as needed.
Respond to requests for repairs or maintenance from staff or visitors promptly and efficiently.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering replacements as necessary.
Work collaboratively with facility management to implement improvements and ensure that standards are met.
Requirements
Proven experience as a caretaker or in a similar custodial/maintenance role.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently without direct supervision.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance equipment, tools, and techniques.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to and from the facility.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
Start Time: 06:00
End Time: 17:15
Pay Per Hour: £16.93
