Spark Active (formally Kingsbury School Sports Partnership) is looking to recruit reliable, passionate and professional curriculum sports coaches to deliver high quality curriculum Physical Education lessons in contracted primary schools for PPA, engaging physical activities at lunchtime and structured after school clubs.
To be a lead member of staff for holiday camps (wage uplift when ‘leading’) and deliver workshops to different audiences as part of the membership offer.
We are looking for coaches to work in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington, Kingstanding Great Barr, Hodge Hill and Yardley. We require sports coaches with a minimum level Level 2 Multi Sport Qualification, Level 3 or 4 PE Coaching Apprenticeship or PE/sport degree or relevant experience in education setting with a minimum of 2 years.
We will invest in employee’s professional development and will provide first aid training and additional coaching qualifications if necessary. We also provide regular observations, providing constructive feedback to enable employees to improve their own practice.
Our staff are Safer Recruitment trained in line with DfE accredited and Ofsted recognised Safer Recruitment Consortium, and as such we may consider carrying out online searches as part of our due diligence on shortlisted candidates, inline with Safer Recruitment practices. Successful candidates will require Right To Work in the UK, a clear and enhanced DBS check (including children’s barred list), and 2 positive references.
