What skills and experience we're looking for
The Governors of the school are seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated teaching assistant(s) to work across the school. Successful candidate(s) will join a team of teaching assistants committed to raising standards and providing support to the teaching and learning agenda.
The role requires specialist skills and knowledge within a specialised context, working with children with substantial additional challenges.
You must be:
• Resilient, empathetic and consistent in approach.
• Flexible, pro-active, supportive and enthusiastic
• Have the skills and commitment to improve outcomes for all pupils in our school
• Able to work effectively within our Pastoral team
• Communicate with parents/carers
Duties to include:
• Supporting pupils daily with pastoral needs.
• Deliver support packages to pupils.
• Deliver and support the delivery of parent workshops as an when required.
• Pastoral team duties including daily behaviour, attitude and attendance.
• An integral part of the Pastoral team, whilst also liaising with the Director of Curriculum
• Parental contact.
These duties are additional to the standard TA job description/job spec.
Previous SEND experience is essential
