Randstad Education is currently seeking a Primary Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to join one of our wonderful partner schools. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive team and make a real difference in the lives of children who need you the most.

Job Details

  • Role: Primary Teaching Assistant

  • Location: East Grinstead

  • Contract: Full-time, Term-time (Monday-Friday)

  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Your Role Will Include

  • Supporting pupils with special educational needs (e.g. Autism, ADHD, Speech & Language difficulties)

  • Delivering one-to-one and small group interventions

  • Assisting the class teacher in creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

  • Liaising with parents, staff, and external professionals as needed

We're Looking For Someone Who

  • Has experience supporting children in a primary or SEN setting

  • Is patient, empathetic, and passionate about making a difference

  • Can adapt strategies to meet individual pupil needs

  • Works well as part of a team and is confident using their own initiative

  • Holds a DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
