Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable Administration Officer to join our bustling Services for Young Children (SfYC) administration service.

Hampshire has a strongly performing Children’s Services Department and high ambition for its children and young people. The SfYC team plays a key role in promoting strong outcomes and driving the County Council’s ambition of high-quality Early Years provision for all children and families. Through all our work we strive to change lives through childcare.

What you’ll do:
To support this, you will be undertaking a range of business support responsibilities including processing the Early Years Education Funding. You will use your excellent communication skills to communicate confidently and professionally with enquiries from childcare providers and parents.

What we’re looking for:
With a strong commitment to customer care, you’ll be able to deal with confidential information in a sensitive manner. At times, you will need to balance working under pressure to meet deadlines, with maintaining quality and attention to detail. Administrative experience and IT skills are essential and your flexible approach to work will ensure you can adapt to changing priorities.
