Crynodeb
To demonstrate a high standard of ultrasound skills and interpretation of diagnostic ultrasound information in line with the departmental evidence based protocols. Implement and participate in QA of all Imaging Ultrasound scanners. To prioritise the departmental workload on a day to day basis Be responsible for time management and prioritising your own workload. Act as supervisor / mentor to sonographers & student sonographers. Communicate incidents/complaints to the Superintendent Sonographer and participate in the investigations of complaints. Assist in developing and maintaining evidence-based quality standards that are regularly audited, and initiate appropriate changes in practice. Active involvement in service development, improvement and redesign. Develop and maintain effective communication with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure effective patient management.
