Process and effectively signpost patients to the appropriate healthcare professional, depending on the presenting condition Answer incoming telephone calls and dealing with the callers request Maintain and monitor all online requests and ensure they are actioned in a timely manner Clinically code data on S1 accurately Good understanding of triaging Input data into patients healthcare records Requests for information i.e. SAR, insurance/solicitors letters and DVLA forms to the Admin Team Manage all queries in an efficient manner Monitor and maintain the reception area and notice boards Provide cover if necessary during staff absences Scan patient related documentation and attach scanned documents to patients healthcare records and code accurately Complete opening and closing of the surgery Undertake all mandatory training and induction programmes, ensuring all training is maintained and up to date Any other duties as may be required by the Partners and the Practice Manger
