Crynodeb
The contract is 12 month, fixed-term and is 40:60 teaching and clinical. 40 % of the time will be dedicated to Education Delivery. 60% of the time will be undertaken within the chosen Clinical Speciality. This is a 40 hour week contract with on-call supplement (1b). This would typically suit anyone wishing to undertake further training in a medical specialty and education prior to or as part of an Out of Programme Experience (OOPE) from their Specialist Registrar training programme. For the latter prior agreement must be sought with the relevant Specialty Training Committee (STC) and DeaneryYou will be expected to have at least two years of accredited core medical training to the level of IMT2 or equivalent. You will be expected to have passed MRCP Royal College of Physicians Membership examinations and have previous experience in delivering education. The post will have opportunities to be involved in other teaching programmes including Foundation Trainees and interdisciplinary simulation training.
