Crynodeb
We are looking for an Assistant Psychologist to join the ADHD Psychology team within the Devon Adult Autism and ADHD (DAANA) service. You would join our team for full time, providing psychological interventions to adults with ADHD, focused on helping them to manage ADHD symptoms and its impact in everyday life. There would also be CPD, service development and project work opportunities. Our guiding principle is to improve the lives of adults with ADHD, and we have developed innovative ways to support this client group, such as developing resources and an online self-help programme. You do not need to be an expert in ADHD, we encourage applicants with a range of appropriate experience and we will support you to learn in the post. There are clinical psychologists, psychotherapists, senior mental health practitioners and non-medical prescribers in the team. Most of our clinical work is online, but there is an expectation that you would be in the office for one day each week. DAANA is a friendly team, passionate about providing high quality services for those with ADHD/ASC. ADHD and ASC are separate pathways within the service but we work alongside one another with a general focus on neurodiversity.
