Connect Appointments are recruiting a Production & Hygiene Supervisor to join our fast-paced production and manufacturing client in Inverkeithing , Fife.

Working as a Production & Hygiene Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading production operations and managing hygiene standards to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. As such, your duties will be to:

  • Oversee production output, ensuring products meet specification and delivery deadlines
  • Lead hygiene practices to maintain high standards across the facility
  • Manage, train, and motivate team members, ensuring effective shift coverage
  • Monitor line efficiency, implement improvements, and control production costs
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, food safety, HACCP, and company policies
  • Conduct briefings, risk assessments, and maintain accurate control sheets

To be successful in this position, you will have 2-3 years' experience in a production setting, with prior supervisory or team lead experience. Combined with the following skills and traits:

  • Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Physically fit and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Understanding of COSHH and hygiene standards in a production environment
  • Able to prioritise your own workload, and that of your teams
