CMA is delighted to be recruiting for a Finance Analyst to join a global brand based in Portsmouth on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional team supporting government and defence-related projects.
This role is ideal for a finance professional who is keen to develop their project accounting and financial analysis experience in a complex, fast-paced environment with excellent long-term career growth and development opportunities.
What will the Finance Analyst role involve?
• Act as the financial focal point for key programme areas, providing timely, insightful data for decision-making
• Deliver full-cycle project accounting, from proposal development through to contract closure
• Prepare detailed variance analysis and monthly performance reports
• Support monthly and quarterly forecasting processes
• Contribute to strategic finance direction and operational planning
Suitable Candidate for the Finance Analyst vacancy:
• Experience in a project-focused finance or operations-facing role
• Part-qualified/qualified (ACCA, CIMA)
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple stakeholders
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to driving results
