About the role
This school is looking for a dependable and hard-working School Cleaner to join their team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. This role is essential to the smooth running of the school and contributes directly to the wellbeing of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas to a high standard.
- Replenish hygiene supplies and ensure safe disposal of waste.
- Operate cleaning equipment and follow health and safety procedures.
- Support with deep cleaning during school holidays.
- Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the site manager.
What We're Looking For
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Good attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Understanding of COSHH and safeguarding procedures.
- Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
