Your new role
The school are seeking an enthusiastic, reflective and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team for maternity cover.
- To have full responsibility for planning, teaching and assessing a Year 5 class.
- To create a positive, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
- To deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- To work collaboratively with the Year 5 team and wider staff.
- To build strong relationships with pupils, parents and carers.
- To contribute to wider school life, including events, trips and enrichment activities.
- To demonstrate a commitment to continuous professional development.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 5
- Is passionate about teaching and learning
- A commitment to creating an inclusive and inspiring learning environment
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high standards
