An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join our Catering team on a permanent part time contract. North Tees and Hartlepool Solutions is seeking to appoint an honest, enthusiastic, hardworking and committed individual, who is able to work in a team and on their own initiative. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be self motivated and able to work flexibly and without direct supervision. The applicant will be required to assist in the provision of a comprehensive and cost-effective catering service that meets the needs of patients, staff and visitors and fulfills the objectives of the Trust. This is a demanding post, but a rewarding one,

Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in designated work areas within documented cleaning schedules, as well as ad hoc duties as requested by your duty supervisor

Maintaining high standards of hygiene, kitchen and personal

Utensil and crockery processing duties using mechanical dishwasher

Operation of heavy duty floor cleaning equipment

Basic preparation and cooking of food items hot sandwiches, hot snacks, chips etc in a food safe manner

Recording of food temperatures

Recording fridge/freezer temperatures

Monitoring fridges/chilled units and ensuring food are within use by date

Reporting faults, accidents and adverse incidents

Service of food to customers

Replenishing and merchandising all food display units and maintaining appropriate records

Demonstrating excellent customer care skills, courtesy and politeness

Adhering at all times to all Trust Policies and procedures
