JOB PURPOSE:
The post holder will deliver development work with Jeanfield Swifts Community Football Club contributing to the objectives within Live Active Leisure’s Football Development Plan in the community of North Perth. The role will focus on identified club objectives including the delivery of high quality coaching sessions, strengthening the links with local schools and engaging the community in wider club activity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operational Duties
Key Tasks
· Work closely with the Football Development Officer to deliver school, club and community coaching programmes.
· Develop and grow an activity programme to meet the needs of the local community through work with partners.
· Contribute to developing innovative football programmes within North Perth to engage with non-participants.
· Create and develop strong links between schools and Jeanfield Swifts Community Club to ensure a pathway for continued participation.
· Lead holiday coaching programmes within Jeanfield Swifts Community Football Club.
· Plan, organise and deliver football coaching sessions to children, young people and adults to support growth within the community club environment.
· Carry out administrative duties and session planning to ensure the efficient operation of football programmes.
· With support from Football Development Officer, monitor and evaluate delivery of projects and programmes, reporting back to external funders and LAL management.
· Support less experienced volunteer coaches within school, club and LAL programmes to enhance their skills and confidence to deliver high quality football sessions.
· Provide support to wider LAL football programmes as appropriate.
· Any other duties as appropriate.
Health and safety

· To comply with the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and all supplementary legislation
· To ensure that any defect or damage to the building or items of equipment is reported to management of facilities or club.
· To ensure programmes are delivered in-line with operational polices and guidelines
General

· To ensure you are physically fit to carry out your duties at all times
· To carry out other reasonable duties as may be required
· Maintain confidentiality and observe data protection guidelines
