Are you a dynamic and experienced retail professional ready to take the next step in your career? Warraich Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and proactive Assistant Retail Manager to join our team at our Premier franchised off-license in Manchester!
This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in the daily operations of a busy, customer-focused convenience store with significant potential.

The Role:
As Assistant Retail Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the store. Your responsibilities will include:
Salary Range- £32000-£39000.
Operational Excellence: Overseeing day-to-day store operations, including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and merchandising.
Team Leadership: Assisting with staff scheduling, training, and supervision, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Customer Service: Ensuring exceptional customer service, handling inquiries, and resolving complaints efficiently and professionally.
Stock Management: Supporting inventory control, ordering, and stock rotation to maximise availability and minimise waste.
Compliance: Adhering to all licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and company policies, particularly those related to age-restricted sales.
Sales & Profitability: Contributing to achieving sales targets and identifying opportunities for growth.
Managerial Support: Deputising for the Store Manager in their absence, taking on key responsibilities and making informed decisions.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in retail, ideally within a convenience store or off-license environment.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, often in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends, and public holidays, to support
Knowledge of age-restricted sales regulations (e.g., Challenge 25).
Problem-solving attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
