An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly successful and growing Uniformed Public Service provision here at Boston College.
This dynamic individual should have a minimum Level 4 qualification/Degree in Public Services or related subject, and/or extensive knowledge and skills working in a public sector service such as the Police, RAF, Army, Navy or Emergency Services. Ideally, you should have experience of teaching 16–19-year-olds within a Further Education environment and preferably (although not necessary) hold a teaching qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with young people, develop your own teaching skills and engage with many of the Uniformed Public Services.
You will be working within a strong team of experienced colleagues who have the opportunity to shape and develop a young person’s future, meeting their career aims and aspirations whether that’s University, Further Education or into their chosen Public Sector employment. UPS forms a department with Sport, so there is potential to deliver in this area too, should your skills allow.
If you are passionate about working with and supporting students to achieve their full potential, then we would love to hear from you.
For an informal discussion, please contact Mark Bridges, Senior Learning Lead, on (01205) 365701 ext. 4505.
