Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver The Best Connection are looking for an HGV Driver for an ongoing assignment for their large blue-chip client in Farnborough. You will be working as part of a team carrying out deliveries to customers homes with a drivers mate.
Rate of Pay: Mon-Fri = £15.50 Per Hour After 8 Hrs = £23.25 Per Hour Saturday = £23.25 Per Hour Sunday & Bank Holiday = £31.00 Per Hour Hours Of Work: 5 Shifts out of 7 Per week (Weekend Work Required) 0700 - Finish
Responsibilities of the HGV Driver: Operate the HGV vehicle in an safe and professional way. Carrying out deliveries of goods to customers homes. Working with a drivers mate. Perform complete pre and post operation inspection of the vehicle (tyre pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls). Ensure that all goods are secured safely. Face to face interaction with customers, delivering excellent customer service. Requirements of the HGV Driver: Category C Licence. CPC. Digi Tacho.
