Were currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join the team at our reputable client in Oldham. If you're motivated, take pride in your work, and want to be part of a supportive and skilled team, this is an excellent opportunity for you.
About the Role:
As an HGV Technician, youll work closely with a small team to carry out diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on a variety of commercial vehicles and trailers. Your work will help ensure vehicles are safe, roadworthy, and prepared for MOT testing.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair faults on engines, brakes, and trailers Carry out routine servicing and inspections Prepare vehicles for MOT tests Maintain high standards of workmanship with a focus on safety and efficiency Working Hours: 39 hours per week Monday to Saturday (3 Saturdays per month paid at overtime rate) 8-hour shifts Requirements: Previous experience in HGV maintenance and repair (essential) Full UK Driving Licence (required) Ability to work well within a team and independently Salary & Benefits: Annual salary range: £15.00 - £20.00 per hour (depending on experience) Overtime available Company pension scheme On-site parking How to Apply: Please send your CV to arrange an interview.
