Our in-house provision, Treetops, has grown from strength to strength. It is a popular and well-attended club and we are looking for a Play Worker to help it continue to flourish. Working under the direction of the After-School Club Manager, the successful candidate will have energy and enthusiasm to ensure that Treetops is a fun and exciting environment that children want to be part of. You would be responsible for leading games and activities, as well as preparing food for the children. You must be a great team-player and love engaging with both children and other adults. Showing initiative is key and we are looking for someone who can take a positive approach and remain calm. You should promote a relaxing and fun environment that the children across all ages want to be part of. If you have experience in another childcare environment, such as a nursery, holiday club or pre-school this could be the perfect move into a school environment. Candidates holding level 3 early years qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply.About usTrinity Oaks provides high quality education supported by a caring ethos, with a focus on the individual child. Start date: September 2025
Salary: Surrey Pay 3. Full-time equivalent (FTE) £24,330 (predicted 2025-26 salary). Actual pro-rata salary for 15 hours, 38 weeks a year: £8,497
Hours: 3-6pm Monday-Friday during term-time. This position is for 38 weeks (term-time only). Any essential INSET days will be paid in addition to this.
Location: Trinity Oaks CofE Primary School, Brookfield Drive, Horley RH6 9NS
Contract Type: Permanent, term-time only. Five-days-a-week (although we would consider 2 or 3 days if we can find somone else to work the corresponding 2-3 days), part-time.Please read the supporting ad, job description and person specification for more details. We would ideally like the sucessful candidate to start at the beginning of the academic year, 1st September 2025, or as soon afterwards as possible.
