Judgemeadow Community College Associate Head of Year 37 hours per week at 39 weeks Grade 9 Point 19-22 (£26,588)
The core work of an Associate Head of Year is to support the Head of Year in providing pastoral support to students within a year group, communicating effectively with staff and parents. The school is looking to recruit a committed professional to join the Pastoral team at Judgemeadow Community College. We seek a flexible and versatile team worker with good communication skills who can motivate and enthuse our young people. All Associate Heads of Year will undertake DSL training and develop significant experience in working with external agencies that support students in school. The Lionheart Educational Trust strive to provide the highest quality education in each of our unique schools, raising the attainment of our talented students and reflecting the local communities of which they are a part. We are well supported by our Trust and our local Governing Body; ensuring we create to develop and improve. The Trust strives to be a diverse and inclusive place where all staff have a seat at the table: a seat to be free, a seat to inspire, a seat to challenge and a seat to succeed. We welcome applications from individuals with drive and determination who are able to challenge and inspire students of all abilities and from all backgrounds. This is a great opportunity to join a progressive and supportive employer of choice, with an unwavering commitment to continuous professional development and staff well-being. In return we can offer you a fulfilling and stimulating role working with other like-minded professionals who strive to make a positive impact on the lives and outcomes of our students. We also offer a range of benefits, including access to Benenden healthcare, an electric car scheme and opportunities to work flexibly around the needs of our children and young people. Judgemeadow is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will carry out online checks for anyone who is shortlisted, and the successful applicant will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
