Job Title: Electrician - EH12

Rate: £24 per hour
Working Hours: 08:00 – 18:00, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Edinburgh, EH12

Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to work on a hotel development project. This role will primarily involve domestic/commerical electrical work within hotel rooms and communal areas. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carrying out domestic/commerical electrical installations, including sockets, lighting, and switches.

  
  

• Wiring and testing circuits in hotel rooms and corridors.

  
  

• First and second fix electrical work.

  
  

• Fault finding and resolving electrical issues.

  
  

• Working from plans and drawings to install systems to specification.

  
  

• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical and building regulations.

  
  

• Maintaining a safe and tidy work area and following on-site health and safety procedures.

  
  Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation.

    
    

  • ECS Gold card

    
    

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (required).

    
    

  • Previous experience on commercial/domestic mixed projects (hotel or residential preferred).

    
    

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    
    

  • Own tools and PPE.

    
    

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

    
    What We Offer:

    • Hourly rate : £24 per hour, depending on experience.
