Crynodeb
Our client is looking for a Trainee Product co-ordinator with the potential to progress into Product Manager over a phased 3 year period.
In year 1 this role will shadow the current technical manager with a view to gradually take over day to day creation of job cards for manufacture, whilst bringing improvements, efficiency and future proofing.
A lot of information gathering, sorting and understanding of process.
In year 2 an understanding of testing and design of new product for successful ongoing management of and compliance to standards.
In year 3 our capacities and limitations for bespoke product creation and thorough understanding of our parameters of our equipment and materials resulting in a clear plan for further investment for efficiency and increased capacity.
Candidates must have :
Engineering / manufacturing Degree or equivalent
Experience of Sheet metal machinery such as Punching, Folding, CNC milling
Absolute attention to detail
Clear and professional communication skills
Understanding of MRP
Interest in technology as an efficiency tool - such as AI, automation
Excellent Excel and other supporting programme skills.
Drawing experience - Solidworks, CNC programmes,
Must have technical understanding of manufacturing processes with the interest and passion to embrace new methods and technologies to future proof.
