Crynodeb
We are looking for a well-motivated, enthusiastic physiotherapist, who wishes to develop their physiotherapy skills in the area of paediatrics. The successful candidate must have had a broad base of experience in Band 5/6 rotations within the NHS. The candidate will demonstrate evidence of previous paediatric experience as a physiotherapist. The job purpose is; To assess and treat children in a variety of locations. To treat children presenting with a variety of complex neurological/neuromuscular disorders and musculoskeletal conditions. To educate and advise parents/carers and the wider MDT, to equip them with the necessary skills to promote children's physical development and appropriate handling. To work with children and their parents/ carers and the wider team (where appropriate) to develop a personalised plan of care to support the achievement of their personal goals and enable greater participation.
