Salary: £47,000 – £57,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 07.00 -16.30 / 09.30-19.00

We’re looking for an experienced HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Fitter to join a modern, high-spec workshop in Tipton. This role is ideal for a skilled professional seeking a stable, long-term position with genuine career growth opportunities in a reputable main dealer setting.
Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
• Service and repair HGVs and trailers to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Carry out fault diagnostics using industry tools and systems
• Complete inspections, maintenance and safety checks
• Accurately record work carried out, including parts used and compliance documentation
• Work closely with the parts department to source and fit correct components
Requirements for the HGV Technician Role / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (NVQ or City & Guilds)
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Team player who can also work independently to a high standard
Desirable
• Class 1 or Class 2 HGV licence
• IRTEC certification
• Experience in a dealership or fleet maintenance environment
