KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Actively promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports the Charity’s purpose of Making Life Better and i-care values to increase morale, productivity and performance
• To provide outstanding customer care, including information, guidance and assistance to all museum and/or cafe visitors
• Responsible for ensuring that all company and statutory policies and regulations regarding Hygiene, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and HACCAP are complied with at all times including policies regarding COSHH, fire, security, alarms, energy conservation and recycling
• To work within the Café, including food and beverage preparation
• The efficient operation of food orders, queue management, cash handling and responding to customer requirements
• To work on a rota basis including regular weekend and bank holiday working
• To ensure timesheets are filled in accurately and on time
• To ensure the museum environment is cared for – buildings, artefacts, facilities and the sites are kept clean and tidy
• To ensure that all activities are carried out safely
• Pursue continuous professional development and contribute to the continuous improvement of Café team and High Life Highland as a whole
• Attend and undertake any training online or in person
• Aim to reduce wastage and uphold our environmental values of being as sustainable as possible in all tasks
• Assist and support other areas of High Life Highland with particular projects, training or in the event of holidays or sickness working cross-functionally across the Café team
