About the Role:
Chowrasta is a premium Indian restaurant offering authentic dishes in a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. We are looking for passionate and experienced Service Staff to join our front-of-house team. You’ll play a key role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests through excellent service and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
* Guide guests through the menu and offer dish or drink recommendations
* Take orders accurately and communicate with the kitchen and bar teams
* Serve food and beverages promptly and in line with hygiene and safety standards
* Monitor guest satisfaction and handle enquiries, feedback, or complaints with care
* Maintain cleanliness and presentation of tables and dining area
* Operate POS systems for order entry and payment processing
* Replenish condiments, table settings, and assist with resetting tables between service
* Support team members during busy periods and contribute to smooth operations
* Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and allergen handling regulations
Mandatory Requirements:
* Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a restaurant or hospitality role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Right to work in the UK
* Basic Food Hygiene awareness
* Professional appearance and positive attitude
* Able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
* Fluent in English
Desirable:
* Experience using POS/till systems
* Knowledge of allergens and dietary requirements
* Multilingual skills are a bonus
* First Aid or Fire Safety awareness
