Summary

Allstaff Office Division are delighted to bring to the market the role of New Product Development Executive for a leading manufacturing company based near Renfrew. Due to the location of the company, own transport is an advantage.
Role Overview:
In this role the successful candidate will manage projects and for the growing customer portfolio of global brands. The primary function of the role is to manage the development of new products from concept to launch alongside continuously improving existing products. To achieve this you will work closely and collaboratively with all departments including marketing, technical and operations. For customers you will be their key point of contact providing best in class customer service and support with all their product development needs.
This role will suit an enthusiastic and resourceful candidate with strong organisation and communication skills and a genuine commitment to exceed customer expectations. In return this position provides a tremendous opportunity to join a friendly team in a dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
Lead development of new products from concept to launch and manage updates to existing products
Manage project timings, drive progress and effectively communicate project status updates internally and to customers
Develop customer relationships and manage customers’ NPD projects
Identify and present new product concepts
Product costing and negotiation
Manage supplier relationships
Creation and management of briefs for formulation and packaging
Key Skills:
Strong inter-personal and communication skills
Excellent organisation skills and good attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-moving environment
Customer service/account management experience
Positive and pro-active approach
Commercial awareness

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 9am – 5.30pm, Friday 9am – 4pm. Some flexibility with start and finish times.
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 depending on experience
