Abbey house are looking for a new senior carer to join our small team, we are currently on the outskirts of Kirriemuir and support 15 residents to live well within the care home.
Day shift senior carer required. 12 hour shifts 08:00-20:00
Salary: 13:60-15:60 per hour.

On line training and face to face training available
• To support and induct care workers to be able to work effectively with residents as detailed in care plans and document this process.
• To carry out reviews and assessments for new and existing residents
• To complete all records as required to ensure the smooth running of care home
• To support with physical health needs.
• To support with prescribed medication.
• To support with emotional well-being.
• To ensure that at all times the service user is supported and encouraged to all residents and staff
• To keep accurate records and maintain the confidentiality of service user information.
• To ensure that changes or concerns relating to service users are reported to the manager
• To comply with organizational policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well being of service users and staff.
• To work in partnership with other health care professionals, including GP’s and District Nurses.
• To attend training, supervision and meetings as required for personal support and
development.
*Please note, that this role requires the person applying to have an SVQ at a minimum level 2, it would be an advantage to have an SVQ level 3, however training and qualification can be provided to the right person.
