Are you a natural leader with a love for dogs and a passion for creating exceptional experiences?

At Bruce’s, we’re looking for an Assistant Centre Manager to help support and inspire our team at Wellington Country Park centre.
This is your chance to combine leadership skills with your love for furry friends, making a difference for dogs and their families

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As an Assistant Centre Manager, you’ll work alongside the Centre Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Your role will include:

* Leading and motivating a dedicated team of dog-loving professionals.
* Delivering exceptional experiences for our canine companions and their humans.
* Focusing on dog welfare and enrichment, ensuring every dog is happy, healthy, and thriving.
* Overseeing operations, including logistics, health and safety, and compliance with licensing regulations.
* Being the friendly face of Bruce’s for customers during drop-offs and pick-ups.
* Supporting team engagement, performance management, and development.
* Helping with rosters, payroll submissions, and maintaining field activities.
* Driving marketing initiatives for customer retention and acquisition.
* Stepping in as Centre Manager when needed, ensuring continuity and excellence.






ABOUT YOU

* A flexible communicator with strong interpersonal skills, able to build important rapports with both your team and customers.
* Licensed to drive, holding a full UK manual driving licence to step in and cover pick-up and drop-off routes when needed.
* A multitasker who thrives under pressure, solving problems creatively and making confident decisions.
* Experience with management and strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
* Results-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting targets and inspiring your team to work toward business goals.
* Skilled in planning, with the ability to work well with others both within the team and beyond.
