Crynodeb
Personal Assistant/Befriender required to assist with several young males, all with several neurodiversity diagnosis.
These young boys/men would like to get out and enjoy activities with someone who will befriend and mentor them.
They are looking for their PA to provide encouragement and to help build their confidence.
You would be required to provide one to one care and assistance in the community with participation in social activities.
Your duties would involve assisting with tasks such as:
· Going out for food
· Shopping, gaming, watching movies, swimming etc
· Any other daily living tasks to promote independent living.
Some of their favourite activities are shopping, crafting, gaming, movies, swimming, cycling, cooking.
The most important qualities are a warm and friendly nature, someone who is good fun and has a desire to work within a caring role.
Must take a proactive and innovative approach to support and encourage individual to be involved in activities suited to their needs.
Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
Driver with a Full UK Driving Licence is essential and you will be required to use your own vehicle – business insurance must be placed on your vehicle.
Experience is preferred but personal experience of care or autism, will be considered.
Recruiting for 2 positions.
Guaranteed permanent position of up to 32 hours per week
