What the day job looks like:
As a Product Development Process Technologist, you’ll:
• Manage NPD and EPD projects through our stage gate process from concept to launch.
• Develop and trial new recipes, support with tastings, and ensure products meet safety, cost, and shelf-life goals.
• Create and maintain process documents (Process Sheets, QAS) and ensure all raw materials and packaging are approved.
• Collaborate with Sales, QA, Production, and external suppliers to bring products to life.
• Evaluate preservation techniques, chemical parameters, and ensure compliance with brand and technical standards.
• Generate and approve product artwork in collaboration with internal and external teams.
• Coordinate weekly project meetings and lead cross-functional communication to keep timelines on track.
• Provide ad-hoc support to amend existing recipes and support production when required.
This role will suit you if:
• You strong experience in product development, process control, or QA within food manufacturing.
• You have a degree in Food Science or a related field.
• You love managing multiple projects with excellent attention to detail.
• You’re organised, curious, and passionate about great food and how it's made.
• You’re confident working with ingredient suppliers and enjoy turning briefs into beautiful, finished products.
• You’re a team player with strong judgement, time management, and creativity.
This role may not be for you if:
• You prefer a narrowly defined or desk-only role.
• You’re uncomfortable working with production teams, chefs, or technical documentation.
• You don’t enjoy fast-paced environments or shifting priorities.
• You struggle with deadlines or cross-functional collaboration.

Terms
• 40 hrs/wk 8am–4.30pm Mon–Fri (Flexibility on start time)
• Probationary period 3 months
• Annual salary review (our ‘movers and shakers’ are always rewarded)
• 10% KPI related bonus based around challenging but achievable tasks related to the role
