We pride ourselves on leading for new, innovative and sustainable products and solutions, both for today and for a new era of building.To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Yard FLT to come and join our team at our Chailey site in Lewes BN8 4BAThe successful applicant will be a member of a multi-functional production/TPM team aiming to achieve key targets within the departmental environment, thereby helping to deliver Cost, Quality and Efficiency benefits to the Factory.Specific responsibilities include:Loading brick packs on to lorries using a 2 pronged counterbalanced forklift truckHand sorting of packs of bricksOperation of plant and machineryWorking to SSOP’s with safe and precise working practices at all timesGeneral maintenance of equipmentPackingThe ability to learn quicklyBeing part of the local TPM teamHousekeeping in your area of responsibilityHigh degree of Health and Safety and environmental awarenessHelp with month end stock takingEssential Qualifications & Experience:Valid Counterbalanced forklift licenceReading and writing ability and able to understand production machineryBasic numeric skillsFlexible and self-motivated working attitudeGood visionAbility to work as part of a team or on your own.Good timekeeping and attendance records.Team working attitude and good communication skillsThink you can make a difference?
