About the Role: We’re excited to be recruiting a full-time Secondary Teaching Assistant on behalf of a friendly and welcoming secondary school right in the heart of Carlisle. This vibrant school has a strong community ethos and is known for its nurturing, inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting students facing significant barriers to learning, leading and developing specialist areas of SEND, or collaborating within small teams to deliver targeted intervention work under the guidance of the SENCo.
What We’re Looking For:
A qualified Teaching Assistant with recent experience in an Secondary setting (Level 2 or above)
A calm, caring, and positive approach to supporting children
Enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work collaboratively within a team
Passionate about early childhood education and helping young learners flourish
Someone who brings creativity, energy, and a warm smile to the classroom each day
