About the Role:

Reporting into the Technical Manager, the CCTV GMP Auditor will be responsible for helping to monitor compliance of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Food Safety and Health & Safety and then act as a coach to deliver behavioural change.

The aim is to build a culture in which doing things the right way is second nature. To operate and communicate effectively between all departments to ensure the needs of the business are fulfilled.

The position will be tasked with assuring the site compliance, acting on audit outcomes / non conformance action plans and timely close. This will be a busy and diverse role where strong organisational and communication skills will be key.

Duties will include:

- Alternating between monitoring CCTV camera screens (all cameras, all areas) walking the floor physically verifying conformance against site rules and engaging with team leaders and area managers.
- Continuous monitoring even when the factory is on break as line clearance and hygiene activities may be taking place at this time
- Maintaining an accurate log of monitoring activities and any breaches observed and action taken
- Monitor the implementation of any new ways of working or improvement actions
- Trending of internal non conformances and corrective actions surrounding process control documentation. Aiding in root cause identification and facilitating change / training requirements / specific shift concerns (for example).
- Challenging and supporting (offering advice) immediately bad practices are observed.

About You:

To succeed in this CCTV GMP Auditor role, you will be able to demonstrate a Good understanding of site GMP, manufacturing processes and technical procedures. Previous experience of working in a technical / training position within the food industry would be ideal, but Elkes are also open to candidates with backgrounds in other FMCG areas.

You will be confident in engaging teams at all levels and be proactive in preventing significant GMP breaches with the desire to make the role your own and create a positive change within the company.
