Band 4 AHP Assistant – Community Forensic Team – full time post (permanent)

Learning Disabilities Division

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and passionate Allied Health Professional (AHP) Assistant to join the Birmingham Community Forensic Team within the Adult Learning Disability Service.

The Adult Learning Disability Service is a provider of care for adults with learning disabilities aged 19 and over across Birmingham. We are dedicated to providing high-quality services that are close to where people live and are person centred to enable people with a learning disability to live their best lives.

You will have access to professional support from experienced clinicians and will receive regular clinical supervision.

If you have experience of working with people with a learning disability and you are enthusiastic about working in forensics we welcome your application.



You will be supporting the assessments and interventions of the Occupational Therapy Community Team. This may involve creating easy read documents to help the individual understand important information or creating visual timetables to help the individual engage with meaningful activities.
